Technology to Humans
The role of technology for humans is to help them in a way that doing things will lessen their effort and perhaps make anything impossible, possible. But isn't it odd though, that the first thing in the morning what you do is reach for your smartphone and check emails and other notifications, wherein just before you close your eyes last night it was just the same thing you've done.
I think it's clear for me now that the emerging technology has really gotten into the nerve of a lot of people. New phones, laptops, and other gadgets are in talk of the town. But to think of it, the advancement of technology have eased the problem of the many, and to be exact, it is about its convenience, most especially in connecting people. Just imagine, all you have to do is have an internet connection and a minute or two you're talking, you're video calling, and stuff with someone miles away.
However the bad impact of this development is felt in the long run, humans are becoming dependent on the use of technology and the internet. It's like they can't live without it. Instead of focusing on what's in front of you, people are much interested on what's on their screen. They say that the essential things in life are the ones that we really need in able to survive, but I think that without the internet, some guy might be collapsing right away.
So what we must do about this hype, is not to try and stop it but to moderate the use of it, and use it for a much better things, because we all know nothing could stop the development of new technologies especially now that more and more inventions are being introduced to the public, and people are actually buying it.
Plain and simple answer for now is, start it off with putting down your phones while with friends, while watching concerts, and have a truly interactive conversation. In that way we still portray how a human being should act.
